First Announcement and Call for Papers ICT -Hanoi 2007
Hanoi Forum on Information-Communication Technology (ICT- Hanoi 2007) is the first in a series of annual international forums on ICT, which is organized by The Vietnam National University (VNU), Hanoi and sponsored by The Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies (KFAS).

Hanoi Forum on Information-Communication Technology (ICT-Hanoi 2007) is the first in a series of annual international forums on ICT, which is organized by The Vietnam National University (VNU), Hanoi and sponsored by The Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies (KFAS). The forum aimes at providing a platform for scientists, engineers, practitioners, managers, businessmen, government leaders, etc. from countries around the world to exchange up-to-date knowledge and experiences and to discuss opportunities, challenges, solutions, practice/application models and a roadmap for ICT development in Vietnam in particular. Panel discussions will be held as the main activities. A scientific workshop is organized for research papers reporting original R&D results and industrial track papers reporting practical ICT R&D, applications, and management experiences. Social activities including excursion to Ha Long Bay and other resource in Hanoi surrounding will be organized as well.

A scientific workshop will be organized on topics in Panel 3. Reviewed seclected papers will be published in the VNU’s Journal of Science.

Submissions

Submissions of abstracts and papers can be done both by e-mail and fax. Extended abstracts (about 300 words) with the title, authors" affiliations and up to 5 keywords should be submitted. The full paper not longer than 10 single-spaced pages should be submitted upon notice of confirmation. Please use MS Word single-spaced typed format, Times New Roman font, 10 pts for the abstract, 12 pts for the body of the paper and 14 pts for the title of the paper, on A4 size paper (Margin: top 2.6 cm; bottom: 2.4 cm; left: 3.0 cm; right: 2.4 cm).
