International Culture Festival 2022 – Connecting cultures of the world's ethnic groups
On December 17, 2022, the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language, VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities, organized the 11th international culture festival. This is a useful playground for hundreds of Vietnamese and international students studying and researching at the university to exchange and share. The event is one of the meaningful activities towards celebrating the traditional 55th anniversary of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language.

The International Culture Festival has become a most anticipated annual event for all lecturers, international and Vietnamese students on the occasion to welcome the new year. The activities of the festival aim at the spirit of connection and spread, creating an atmosphere of friendship and solidarity between international students and Vietnamese students, between the university and the learners, as well as a cultural bridge between tradition and modernity. The festival also helps students experience and understand different cultures in the spirit of respect and sharing, extends sympathy and inspires learning the Vietnamese language and culture in a very natural way for international students.

A lot of attractive activities took place within this year's International Culture Festival. More than 400 Vietnamese and international students were grouped into 11 culinary camps to participate in the Camp Fest with the theme “Spring Connection – Global New year” with special dishes of European countries (Germany, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, etc.), Asian countries (Japan, China, Korea), along with famous dishes of America, Cuba and more than 10 traditional Vietnamese dishes made by undergraduate students from the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language. In addition, the faculty also organized the activity of "Wrapping Chung cake - Wrapping love" and other fun and meaningful activities such as bamboo dance, fashion show, etc. Before kicking off the "Sparkling New Year" Gala on the night of December 17, Vietnamese undergraduate students from the Faculty brought a special recycled fashion program focusing on the theme of ecology and human life, calligraphy (by foreign students), etc.
