Dr. Tran Thi Viet Ha from VNU Vietnam Japan University won VNU Prospective Teacher of the Year award.

On January 11, 2023, at the Conference to review the work in 2022 and implement the plan for 2023, Dr. Tran Thi Viet Ha from Vietnam Japan University honorably received the “Prospective Teacher of the Year” award.

This annual event mainly aimed at recognizing and honoring lecturers with outstanding achievements in teaching, scientific research and having had contributions, initiatives, efforts to improve education quality. At the Conference, President of the National University presented the “Teacher of the Year” award to 10 individuals, the “Prospective Teacher of the Year” award to one individual (Dr. Tran Thi Viet Ha) and “Innovative Teacher of the Year” award to two collectives and three individuals. Along with that, lecturers receiving the “Teacher of the Year” award received certificates of merit from the President of the National University in Hanoi.

Dr. Tran Thi Viet Ha is currently a Lecturer cum Program Coordinator for the Master Program on Environment Engineering at Vietnam Japan University with more than four years of teaching experience.

Sharing about this honor, Dr. Viet Ha said “I am very pleased that my efforts have been recognized. The award is the motivation for me to continue innovating and making innovative changes in teaching, scientific research as well as international publications”.

“As you know, there are a great number of lecturers at the National University in Hanoi. And, this is the first year that the University grants this award. The organizer requested to provide a lot of information such as Explanation of reasons to apply for this award, Scientific background of the candidate, etc. and I made a rather careful preparation. When I found out that I was shortlisted among more than 100 profiles, I was very excited and hopeful. Just this morning when I received the call to receive the award, the joy was bursting. I have received many congratulations from colleagues and students. Thank you very much everyone. This is really a great encouragement for me to continue working hard in the upcoming school year and period”, Dr. Ha added.
