First Announcement and Call for Papers ICT- Hanoi 2008
Hanoi Forum on Information - Communication Technology (ICT) Hanoi, December 11 - 13, 2008

ICT-Hanoi 2008 is the second in a series of annual international Hanoi Forum on Information-Communication Technology, which is organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and sponsored by The Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies (KFAS). The forum aims at providing a platform for scientists, engineers, practitioners, managers, businessmen, government leaders, etc. from countries to exchange new ideas and experiences and to discuss opportunities, challenges, solutions, practice/application models and a roadmap for ICT development in Vietnam in particular. Panel discussions will be held as the main activities. A scientific symposium is organized for research papers reporting original R&D results and industrial track papers reporting practical ICT R&D, applications, and management experiences. Social activities including excursion to a famous place in the North of Vietnam and other resource in Hanoi surrounding will be organized as well.

The ICT Research and Development symposium will be also organized; its reviewed selected papers will be published in the VNU’s Journal of Science.

Submissions

Submissions of abstracts and papers must be done by e-mail. An extended abstract (not longer than 200 words) and full paper should be submitted before the deadline. Papers should be written in English: MS Word format, Times New Roman font, on A4 sized paper (Margin: top: 3.6cm; bottom: 4.3cm; left: 2.5cm; right: 2.5cm). Title of the paper: 18cm, normal print, central adjustment. Name(s) of the author(s): 13.5cm, normal print, central adjustment. Name(s) and address(es) of the affiliation(s): 10.5cm, Italic print, central adjustment. Abstract and keywords: 10cm, normal print, justified (margin: left: 1cm; right: 1cm). Body of the paper: 11cm; justified; splitted into 2 columns (Width: 7.5cm, spacing: 1cm). The reference must be put in the square bracket []
