On February 24, the Session 1 titled “Environmental Technology for Supporting Agricultural Industries in Vietnam”, which belongs to the 2023 International Symposium of Asia-Japan Research “Asia-Japan Research Beyond Borders: Asian Societies Striving for Secure and Sustainable Life”, will be held online, by the Asia-Japan Research Institute - Ritsumeikan University in the collaboration with Institute of Sustainability Science (ISS), Master’s Program in Environmental Engineering (MEE) - Vietnam Japan University (VJU)

It aims at promoting the joint research based on our experience and networks, and contributing to friendly relations between Vietnam and Japan by nurturing young researchers. From three perspectives, water circulation, waste valorisation, and food production, environmental technologies have been developed for solving problems related to Vietnam's agriculture, livestock, and ­sheries industries.

Prof. Satoshi SODA, College of Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University and Dr. Nguyen Thi An HANG, Director cum Lecturer of MEE will be keynote speakers.
